Welcome back everyone to Inside Look at Building Towards Wealth.
What was originally intended as a three or four-week hiatus from writing my weekly newsletter, ended up being a four-month hiatus. Unfortunately, life sort of got in the way, as it seems to do in general, but especially in this year of 2020.
We have some exciting things on tap. My website www.buildingtowardswealth.com is now launched. You will find all of my previous newsletters there as well as all of my future posts.
I want to apologize to those who have reached out to me saying that they have missed the newsletters I had been writing. I had to prioritize my family and clients to make sure they received all of the attention they deserved.
As enjoyable and valuable as it is to write this newsletter for me and my clients, it had to take the backseat to other important factors in my life. But it is my hope, and my intention, that there will be no such hiatus going forward in 2021. This will be a new year for all of us to look forward to.
I look back on the past few months in my life and think about how busy they have been. I look at the way that I have dealt with prioritization and how it has actually provided additional insight for me. I know that this time will make me an even better financial planner moving forward. Better able to help my clients with those same issues.
It is very easy for us, as people, to continually push off the things that we should be doing. When we have a good team to work with it allows us to continue to focus on what’s most important in their lives. This will allow us to have others working on our behalf and execute all of the tasks that we need to get done, even when we do not have the time to execute these tasks ourselves.
That is why it is important to have a team of professionals that you trust so that you can accomplish your goals. There is a sense of accountability that you have that when you layout your future goals, dreams, and desires that someone is working with you to hold you accountable. Just speaking on these goals will not bring them into existence, it will require effort. Working with a financial planner will help execute those goals.
